This is a full time, onsite role in midtown Manhattan
Responsibilities:
- Deliver first-level technical support to clients, addressing hardware, software, and network issues both remotely and onsite
- Manage user account creation, modification, and termination for client organizations
- Install and configure new hardware and software according to standardized documentation
- Troubleshoot basic desktop environmental issues and network connectivity problems
- Support desktop software applications, including Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
- Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding processes for client companies
- Maintain IT inventory and asset management for multiple clients
- Document all support activities, adhering to compliance requirements and best practices
- Participate in the implementation and maintenance of backup and business continuity solutions
- Collaborate with senior team members on more complex issues and escalate when necessary
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and basic network administration (DNS, WINS, DHCP)
- Familiarity with remote access technologies and VPN configurations
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel to client sites within the Manhattan area as needed
- Basic understanding of IT security principles and best practices
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and client environments
