Job Title: Sr Events Manager (B2B)

Client Location: Chicago, IL- REMOTE

Salary/Pay Rate: $58.79 to $65.33 an hour

Duration: 6 months (may extend)

Job Description:

Manage our client's involvement in multiple events for aligned entities, including handling all aspects of event execution. Working with the Events Leads (and entity marketing leads), develop conference, sponsorship and association relationships and approaches, with a focus on innovative, new ideas to increase engagement. Manage multiple complex (large-scale, executive-level) events simultaneously. Successfully negotiate with various conference and event providers to ensure highest return on investment.

Coordinate and manage all aspects of event program including:

Event planning

Event execution (logistics management including venue selection, catering, invitation process, on-the-ground planning, policy overview, etc.)

Conference sponsorships and Speaking engagements

Liaise with and manage multiple stakeholder relationships both inside Accenture and with outside organizations/vendors

Budget management

Post-event close/wrap (including event analytics, documentation, surveys, etc.)

Skills:

Event management and execution, Account Management, Program and Project management.

Must have experience managing several events at once. Must be able to work with multiple stakeholders.

Experience: 5-10 years B to B event management or related experience with proven success managing medium-large scale hosted events, tradeshows and conferences

Other requirements:

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field

Professional Qualifications:

Solid professional presence and ability to interact with multiple points of contact across functional groups at various career level, including executives

Proactive, self-starter who is motivated and driven to make a difference within the team

Accountable and engaged

Attention to detail and high-quality work outputs

Budget management and financial reporting skills

Well organized with program management skills and an ability to manage multiple work streams and programs simultaneously

Strong team player, willing to collaborate for best results – across multiple teams

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $58.79 to $65.33 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
