In this position you will play a vital role in supporting financial analysis, business results reporting, planning cycles, financial systems, and cost accounting, while providing ad-hoc support to the North America team to achieve business objectives.
Responsibilities
Cost Analysis
- Assist Senior Manager, Finance with monthly close process, analyzing landed costs and assigning duty & freight components to the cost model.
- Maintain OPM cost database for newly assigned items and certain purchase agreements, updating daily.
- Set up product costs in Oracle monthly and review/update item costs quarterly.
- Support quarterly forecast and annual budget process by preparing, reviewing, and verifying cost files before loading into the financial system.
- Provide cost-related support to Americas commercial teams, including landed cost estimates.
- Perform ad-hoc costing analysis.
Financial Analysis & Reporting
- Assist Senior Manager, Finance with monthly close process for North America, collaborating with accounting teams in the USA and Canada.
- Update early advice sales report, gross to net, and E&O reconciliation as per reporting calendar.
- Support Annual Operating Plan and Quarterly forecasts for the Industrial North America business.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in finance; MBA or CPA (desirable)
- 3+ years of diversified financial management experience
- Strong understanding of financial statements and business profitability drivers
- Knowledge and Skills:
- Proficient in MS PowerPoint and Excel
- Strong systems knowledge
