Wilson Construction Co. is looking for a talented IT Systems Administrator to take on the responsibility of managing and optimizing our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the complete lifecycle of IT system management, from initial planning and design to deployment, maintenance, and ongoing enhancement. In this role, you will manage network infrastructure, servers, and workstations to ensure uninterrupted daily operations. You will also provide expert technical support for end-users while collaborating with various departments to maintain compliance with key cybersecurity and regulatory standards, including NIST and CIP.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Oversee the management and upkeep of the organization’s network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Administer and maintain server systems, virtual environments (Hyper-V), user workstations, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues to support end-users.
• Implement and manage security measures such as antivirus software, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems to protect company data.
• Monitor network performance and security to proactively address issues and ensure optimal operation.
• Administer Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams.
• Collaborate with the IT team and other departments to implement new technologies and improve current systems.
• Ensure adherence to IT policies and procedures to maintain system reliability and security.
• Provision devices and manage onboarding processes for new employees.
• Plan and coordinate system software upgrades, including testing and implementation.
• Maintain documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures.
Qualifications:
• 5-10 years of experience in IT or Systems Management, or a combination of relevant education, certifications, and experience.
• Strong experience with Windows Server and Active Directory.
• Proficiency in virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
• Expertise in Microsoft 365 administration, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams.
• Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Administrator Associate) are preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize effectively.
This position is based out of our Canby office. Candidates must reside within a reasonable driving distance to the office or be willing to relocate.
