Qualifications

• Two or more years of Store or Assistant Store Manager experience in a retail environment
• Demonstrated ability to supervise, motivate, and communicate positively to Store Associates at all levels
• Must be able to work evenings and weekends, and perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Leads and maximizes productivity by minimizing steps and touches while working.

• Assists in evaluating store performance by analyzing reports and communicating any variances to the Store Manager.

• Responsible for recruiting, hiring, training, and developing non-exempt Associates.

• Assists with inventory process, loss prevention, and maintaining a safe and secure environment for both Associates and Customers.

• Supervises and coaches Retail Associates in providing efficient and friendly service at the registers, Customer Service desk, fitting rooms, sales floor, etc.

• Ensures compliance with company merchandising guidelines and controls payroll hours within budget.
