Job Overview – Territory Sales Manager (Oil & Gas):
Step into a key role with our client as a Territory Sales Manager (TSM) in the oil and gas sector, based in Moorestown, NJ. This hybrid position focuses on driving sales activities, marketing initiatives, and merchandising strategies for company products and programs within a designated territory. You’ll work closely with internal teams and franchisees to ensure compliance, achieve sales targets, and maintain operational excellence.
Compensation: $90,000 - $94,000/year + bonus
Location: Moorestown, NJ
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Responsibilities as the Territory Sales Manager:
- Territory Oversight: Conduct bi-monthly sales calls, prepare detailed reports, and enforce retail standards to ensure operational success.
- Performance Management: Develop and implement Performance Improvement Plans to meet objectives while adhering to Sales Force Effectiveness Guidelines.
- Dealer Support: Provide guidance on business plans, financial statements, and compliance with company policies to support dealer success.
- Marketing & Merchandising: Execute marketing initiatives, maintain signage programs, and advise dealers on inventory control, product placement, and promotions.
- Compliance & Safety: Monitor and resolve environmental issues, enforce compliance policies, and address contract violations to ensure adherence to standards.
- Reporting & Analysis: Manage operational reports, conduct territory reviews, and update upper management on progress and key issues.
Qualifications for the Territory Sales Manager:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field required.
- Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience in sales, territory management, or a related field.
- Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities, with expertise in reading, analyzing, and interpreting business documents.
- Analytical Skills: Proficient in calculating figures such as discounts, interest, and commissions, with strong problem-solving abilities to define issues, analyze data, and develop actionable solutions.
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Other Requirements: Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
