Description:
Sales Support – Customer Inquiries & Pricing
The role provides sales support to manage a backlog of customer communications related to pricing inquiries. The position involves reviewing and managing customer emails, collaborating with the sales team, and liaising with finance teams to address any discrepancies or pricing issues. The primary goal is to efficiently handle customer inquiries, compare data between Salesforce and the ERP system, and clear the backlog of requests. This is a non-customer-facing role that requires extensive internal collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a high-volume email inbox of customer inquiries, primarily related to pricing issues.
- Review customer inquiries and determine whether to resolve independently or collaborate with sales and finance teams.
- Communicate with internal teams via email, phone, and Microsoft Teams to resolve pricing-related issues and ensure accurate information is provided to customers.
- Analyze and compare customer inquiries with data in Salesforce and the ERP system to confirm pricing details.
- Understand and interpret pricing structures to accurately address inquiries.
- Respond to inquiries promptly, providing solutions or escalating to the appropriate team members as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions in Salesforce (CRM system).
- Work collaboratively with the sales team and finance to address complex issues and problem-solve.
- Ensure efficient clearance of the inquiry backlog while maintaining a high standard of accuracy.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high volumes of data and communication.
- Solid understanding of pricing structures and ability to interpret pricing information.
- Strong communication skills, particularly in written correspondence.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Teams and collaborating with internal teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Additional Information:
- This is a strictly sales support role. The position does not involve order placement or direct customer phone calls.
- Support will be provided by the sales team and finance team for problem-solving and answering complex queries.
