The Recruiter will coordinate a comprehensive healthcare recruitment program. Ensure adequate staffing of all NEMS professionals in accordance with the needs and goals of the clinics, medical staff and administration. Identify and source professionals using a variety of creative and effective recruitment methods.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Establishes procedures to ensure effective efforts to recruit professional employees into the organization.
- Researches association publications, web sites and other appropriate resources on which to post opportunities.
- Assist with the development of promotional materials, such as banners and posters to be used in recruitment events.
- Tracks and verifies all invoices and funds spent on external recruitment resources; including job postings, ad placements, third party placement fees, etc. Analyzes effectiveness of advertising and resources used.
- Reviews resumes/applications and phone screens all candidates to determine quality and fit for the organization.
- Identifies and searches candidate database(s) for potential candidates. Develops hiring campaigns for and places follow-up calls to proactively source candidates.
- Researches and attends job fairs, conferences, and other recruitment opportunities.
- Maintains an applicant tracking database reflecting documentation of positions open, interviews scheduled, conversation had, offers made or not made, offers accepted or not accepted, reasons for offers declined, etc. Follows up with all candidates and referring parties in a timely manner.
- Present opportunities with detail and clarity, providing information about NEMS’, compensation plan, benefits, and specific elements of the position.
- Follows-up and obtains feedback from interviewers and candidates after interview to determine interest on all parties' behalf. Contacts professional references for each candidate; documents information gathered.
- Stays current on regional and national healthcare clinic hiring trends and practices; researches competitor's activities to keep informed of changes impacting NEMS’s ability to hire and retain top talent. Provides input to improve physician-related processes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience
- Minimum 2-4 years full-cycle recruiting.
- Previous experience recruiting healthcare, administrative and entry level professionals preferred
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, related field or equivalent.
Additional Requirements
- Advanced proficiency in various computer applications, e.g. MS Office Suite including Word, Power Point, Excel and Outlook.
- Experience with ADP or other HRIS systems and applicant tracking
- Excellent communication skills including negotiation skills; must be persistent and persuasive.
- Ability to develop alternative solutions to problems; comparing and analyzing data; preparing clear, concise, thorough, meaningful, and grammatically correct written reports, letters, memoranda, and other documents.
- Must be able to establish rapport and effective working relationships with physicians and clinic administrators.
- Very strong customer service orientation, positive attitude, and change oriented.
- Must be able to prioritize multiple responsibilities and manage a large workload within tight deadlines.
- Ability to independently plan, organize, prioritize, schedule, coordinate, and make decisions relating to assigned tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and self-motivation. Self starter, takes initiative, and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to work with highly sensitive and confidential matters.
- Flexible to travel around bay area to various NEMS sites, Universities, career events, etc.
STATUS:
- This is an FLSA exempt position.
- This is not an OSHA high risk position.
