Position: Office Engineer (Document Control)

Location: Washington, DC (onsite 5 days a week)

Salary : $90k-$110k

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Office Engineer to oversee Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) for document control within our engineering clients. The ideal candidate will ensure that all project documentation meets the highest standards of accuracy, completeness, and compliance with industry regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in document control and QA/QC within the engineering or construction industry.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Proficiency in document management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to document control and QA/QC.
  • Relevant certifications in QA/QC or document control are a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Document Control Management: Oversee the document control process, ensuring all project documents are properly managed, stored, and distributed.
  • Quality Assurance: Develop and implement QA procedures to ensure the accuracy and completeness of project documentation.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular audits and reviews of project documents to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
  • Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate document submission and approval.
  • Training: Provide training and support to team members on document control procedures and QA/QC standards.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on document control activities and QA/QC performance to senior management.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in document control and QA/QC.
