Job Title: Personal Care Assistant (High School)

Location: Media, PA 19063

Hours: Monday-Friday 7:15am-2:15pm (30 minute unpaid break)

Type: Ongoing Contract (W2, Weekly Pay, Benefits Available)

Responsibilities:

• Providing support to the instructional program within assigned classroom with specific responsibility for assisting in the supervision, care and instruction of special needs students in the regular classroom or in a self- contained classroom
• Assisting in implementing plans for instruction
• Monitoring student behavior during non-classroom time
• Providing information to appropriate school personnel
• Attending IEP meetings.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• PA Child Abuse (Within 2 years)
• FBI Criminal Background Check, Fingerprints (Within 2 years)
• PA Criminal History Check (Within 2 Years)
• TB Test (within 3 Months)
• Physical or documentation authorized to work. (Within 1 Year)
• Mandated Reporter Training Certification (within 4 or 5 years)
• CPR/First Aide
