Job Description *

An employer in The Woodlands, TX area is seeking a Business Data Analyst to join their Data Architecture and Analytics team. This team is responsible for the data warehousing, management, and architecture of the enterprise organization utilizing Microsoft Technology stack. The Business Data Analyst will be acting as the liaison between the business and development teams. This person will focus specifically on integration projects and reporting requirements. On a daily basis, this person will be interacting the with business stakeholders to gather requirements, communicate those to the development teams, create documentation through user stories, as well as technical documentation for data mapping.

Required Skills and Experience *

• 3 - 5 years experience in a report developer, business analyst, or similar role
• 3+ years experience with report documentation for ETL / data integration processes and data mapping
• Experience working in tandem with Business users to gather requirements / business logic and development teams to create technical documentation
• Experience writing queries in SQL and TSQL
• Experience with Azure DevOps for documentation and filed import

Nice to Have Skills and Experience

• Experience with Power BI
• Experience in the banking industry
