This internship offers hands-on experience in AI development, project management, and leadership opportunities within a new AI team (team of you and the CEO Jeff Adcock).

Position Overview:

We’re seeking an AI Intern to help develop AI-powered solutions. Our first use for this position is below and we are looking for 20-40 hours a week.

Managing spreadsheet data, performing calculations, and generating analysis and actions from this data. Also creating polished presentation results.

We currently create a single dashboard by compiling data from over twenty reports. We want to develop a way to structure and tag this data in a database and build prompts that can generate the correct results and then make recommendations based on the training we will give the LLM.

During this internship, you’ll work closely with our CEO Jeff Adcock who has 30 years of software experience and success, but is a noob at AI. You will have the opportunity to grow into a management or leadership role for AI.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Support & Planning: Assist in building and maintaining project plans, track milestones, and ensure on-time delivery of AI solutions.
• Data Collection & Storage Support: Help develop strategies for efficient data collection, organization, and storage to support AI models.
• AI Prompt & Training Support: Contribute to designing and refining AI prompts, assist with model training, and help improve AI responses based on real-world use cases.
• Output Validation & Correction: Work with senior team members to ensure AI outputs are accurate and error-free, making necessary adjustments.
• Use Case Development Assistance:
• Support AI tools for spreadsheet data, calculations, and reporting with visual outputs.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with the Finance, and Executive Team.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Computational and Applied Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Obsessed interest in AI, machine learning, and natural language processing (NLP).
• Understanding of data collection, storage, and processing methods.
• Familiarity with large language models (LLMs) and AI-based automation tools.
• Strong communication skills, with a collaborative attitude and eagerness to learn.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic AI output issues to ensure accuracy and relevance.
• Familiarity with spreadsheet data and visualization techniques is a plus.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure).
• Exposure to AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch)
• Basic understanding of AI model performance metrics and analytics.
