This position manages all aspects of Avantik’s logistics function to control, deliver, and distribute products and materials to the destinations. Implements the overall strategy, metrics, and processes to deploy an optimized logistic network and operations. Oversees critical and related inventory, distribution, and transportation operations that support the achievement of organizational goals and KPI's for product delivery and customer satisfaction. Ensures compliance with all regulations governing transportation of goods. Utilizes analytics to monitor and measure performance, identify problems in operations, and achieve high performance at optimal cost. This position oversees all aspects of building functions and guarantees the safety and functionality of all facilities.

- Managing and maintaining an accurate inventory of product storage in multiple warehouses, managing space and storage requirements
- Setting up and maintaining schedules for inbound and outbound shipments for Pine Brook, NJ warehouse
- Manage day-to-day operations at Pine Brook, NJ, leading daily huddle to prioritize tasks for the warehouse
- Establish warehouse practices and protocols to achieve efficient warehouse operations
- Monitor workplace performance and lead training initiatives
- Updating and evaluating metrics to assess performance and implement enhancements.
- Conduct root-cause analysis of warehouse errors and take corrective actions
- Responding to any issues or customer complaints and involving quality team as needed.
- Manage carrier relationships, including negotiating contracts and rates
- Responsible for submitting freight claims and disposition of products damaged in transit across the distribution network
- Working with other departments in the organization to implement logistical improvements
- Communicate with other departments to ensure products are shipped in a timely manner
- Manage compliance, quality control, and quality assurance standards and specifications
- Running routine safety inspections, corresponding with contractors, planning maintenance work and maintaining records
- Implement health and safety programs and procedures to safeguard employees
Education/Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, with focus on supply-chain management degree with a focus on supply chain management and/or logistics
- Intermediate computer skills with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Dynamics
- Proficiency with hazardous materials transportation regulations
- Solid understanding of logistics and inventory management software.
- Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of an organization
- Knowledge of end to end logistics operations
