Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

·        Diagnose and repair diesel engines and related systems (fuel, electrical, emissions, etc.)

·        Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, brake inspections, and tire repairs

·        Inspect and troubleshoot mechanical issues and recommend solutions

·        Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance work

·        Test and adjust systems to ensure proper functionality

·        Maintain a clean and organized workspace

·        Adhere to safety protocols and company policies

·        Collaborate with the team to ensure timely vehicle repairs and reduce downtime

Qualifications:

·        Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role

·        Knowledge of hazardous material vehicles and PTO/ Hydraulic driven pump system preferred.

·        Strong knowledge of diesel engines, systems, and troubleshooting

·        Experience with diagnostic tools and repair equipment

·        Ability to work independently or as part of a team

·        Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work

·        Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred

·        ASE certification is a plus
