Position Overview
The Customer Service Associate position offers the chance to gain insights into the core functions of customer service while delivering support to both internal and external customers. The role involves direct interaction with our internal Regional Sales Managers and our external Dealer Network. This key position on our Customer Experience team provides an excellent opportunity to become part of the dynamic team at Godfrey and Hurricane.
Essential Job Functions
  • Customer Support: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to warranty or aftermarket coverage or quoting.
  • Communication: Liaise with manufacturers, suppliers, and internal departments to facilitate the warranty process and ensure timely resolution of claim or quote requests.
  • Sales and Distribution: Participate in the sales process for aftermarket parts, including order processing, inventory management, and delivery coordination as needed.
  • Compliance: Ensure all warranty claims comply with company policies and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Training: Educate customers and dealership staff on warranty & aftermarket policies and procedures.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all warranty claims, including approvals, denials, and follow-ups.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new sales opportunities and stay competitive.
Skills and Knowledge
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 3 or more years' experience in customer service, warranty or aftermarket will be considered in lieu of degree
  • Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
  • Must be detail oriented and able to multi-task
  • Ability to see projects and tasks across varied timelines through to completion
  • Additional requirements include familiarity with personal computing software (i.e. MS
Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint)
  • Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively
interact with all levels of the organization also required
  • Desire to be pro-active and think critically
Other Skills/Abilities
  • Possess a professional demeanor on the phone, via email, and in person
  • Mechanically inclined is a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Must be willing to become knowledgeable of Godfrey and Hurricane products as well as learn the business from order intake through production and into consumer use.
