Job Summary: BBSI is seeking Customer Service Representatives.The ideal candidate loves talking to people and proactively solving issues. You will be responsible for providing communication and servicing to current and prospective insurance and financial planning clients, as part of a service team. Job Title: Customer Service Representative
Job ID: 72842
Pay Rate: $17/hr - $20/hr DOE
Job Location: South Jordan
Shift: 9 AM-5 PM Monday-Thursday and 9 AM-12 PM on Friday
Responsibilities: Applicants could be required to do any of the following:
  • Answering phones and greeting clients
  • Communicate with customers via phone, email, and text promptly
  • Provide knowledgeable answers to questions about insurance policies, coverage, pricing, billing, etc. and service insurance policies. (training provided)
  • Monitor multiple queues for policy changes and notifications, proactively work as a liaison between clients and various insurance companies/departments to ensure requirements are met and processed before deadlines
  • Work with internal departments and other service team members to meet customer's needs
  • Document Control - review, submit and file documents
  • Data entry in various platforms including time tracking, texting/chat software, CRM, and insurance software
  • Assist Agent and Advisors, as needed, on projects and events
  • Help maintain the office
  • Order and pick up lunch for the office twice a week, other errands as needed.
Qualifications :
  • At least 1 - 3 years of customer service work experience
  • Excellent phone etiquette and verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Computer Proficiency including CRM and web-based programs
  • Understanding of principles and practices of insurance is preferred, but not required. Training provided.
