Job description We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pelvic Health Physical Therapist to join our dynamic practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pelvic health and a commitment to incorporating fitness principles into rehabilitation. You will play a crucial role in helping our clients regain strength, mobility, and confidence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with pelvic health and orthopedic concerns.
- Integrate fitness and functional movement strategies into plan of care and treatment.
- Educate patients on pelvic health, body mechanics, optimal movement patterns, and self-care techniques.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress.
- Participate in community outreach and education events.
Qualifications:
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Physical Therapist.
- Specialization or coursework in pelvic health (e.g., coursework through APTA or similar).
- Strong interest and experience in fitness, movement, or sports therapy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent manual skills and critical thinking skills.
- Passion for patient education and empowerment.
