As a Wash and Detail Manager, you will: Oversee the daily operations of the RV valet and wash/detail departmentsManage a team of valet/porters, and third-party wash/detail technicians ensuring that all RVs are cleaned and detailed to a high standard, including washing, waxing, interior detailing/cleaning, and maintain a safe and efficient work environment Schedule washing and detailing of coaches on the lotEnsure move requests, valet moves, wash bay, exterior and interior building maintenance is being performed and kept to standardBe the main point of contact for storage customers for the facilityCoordinate move requests for storage customers, working with the corporate office to ensure storage levels are closely monitored and managedWork with the sales and service departments to deliver superior customer service Ensure all coaches meet our high standards through quality control checksApprove units for release to customerManage inventory levels of cleaning and detailing supplies, and order supplies as neededOversee proper customer billing for third-party wash/detail company Hire, train, and manage a team of RV valet/portersDevelop and maintain standard operating procedures for the valet department, while also ensuring third-party wash/detail company meets NIRVC standards Be sure all policies and procedures are followed and executed in a timely mannerManage all team members in the departmentRecruit & training new team members Provide excellent customer service and address any customer concerns or complaints in a timely mannerAnalyze department performance and develop strategies to increase efficiency and profitabilityMaintain equipment and ensure that it is in good working order Qualifications: High School diploma, or equivalent work-related experience5-10 years of customer service experience in a management rolePrior experience in valet or wash/detailing or a related field is preferredTeam Manager of large crew - This is not a desk job; you will be working with your team for most of the day Able to train and retrain current employees and new employees using provided training methods Able to process paperwork (Windows Applications, Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) Able to follow processes and procedures On your feet most of your shift Multitasking is a must Great communication skills required Customer service is vital Mechanically inclined Working Outdoors (in/around water) Being Aware and Attentive to Surroundings Adapt to change with a growing company Willing to come in on some weekends if needed Cleanliness is a must Attend critical meetings and be able to provide feedback on operations Knowledge of Wash and Detail a strong plus. Demonstrated ability to establish structure, systems, and process to keep up with rapid growth.
