Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CT Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 02/17/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days, rotating Employment Type: Travel Shift Details: • Days | 4x10 hours / 3x12hours | 36-40 hours/week • Every other weekend required Required Qualification: • BLS-AHA • ARRT • UT State CT License • IV Certification • Infection Control CT Technologist Responsibilities: • This position is responsible for performing high quality CT procedures. • The incumbent will perform a variety of CT procedures employing ingenuity, initiative, and independent judgment. • The incumbent will use ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes. • Ensures proper patient identification, order verification, and prepares the patient for the exam. • Performs exams per department protocol. • Understands cross sectional anatomy and demonstrates anatomical positioning competency. • Familiar with the ALARA program and follows proper radiation safety protocol. Demonstrates ability to critique own films.
