Certification Details BLS ACLS WOCN Job Details A hospital in California is looking for an experienced Wound Care RN for a travel assignment. The right candidate will have 2 years of experience. Job Requirements Hold an active BLS certification. Hold an active ACLS certification. Hold an active California license. Must have at least 3 years of experience in Wound Care in the hospital setting. Schedule Information Shifts are 10 hours with varied start times between 7 am and 10 am. Weekend Requirement: can work Saturdays, but will not be scheduled on Sundays. Holidays: No. Unit Specific Information Floor specific orientation based off of experience. Additional Details Unit: Wound care beds: Cover the entire hospital Certs: BLS, ACLS, and WOCN are required. Ostomy experience highly preferred. Ratios: 3 Wound Care Nurses scheduled each day with staggered start times (treat approximately 45-60 patients/day). EMR: Cerner Charge Nurse: Clinical Supervisor Pharmacy 24/7: Yes Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Patients that require wound care treatments. Additional Notes: In addition to MedSurg experience or other, must have at least 3 years of experience in Wound Care in the hospital setting.
