Leonard's Palazzo is seeking experienced and detail-oriented Operations Managers to join our team! In this role, you will be integral to ensuring the execution of day-to-day operations, supporting event coordination, and providing outstanding service for our guests. Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist and oversee the setup and breakdown of events, ensuring that all equipment, tables, chairs, linens, and decor are arranged according to event specifications.
  • Support the Service team’s in managing the logistics of events, including ensuring timely delivery of food and beverages, coordinating with staff, and addressing any immediate issues.
  • Communicate with external vendors (florists, entertainment, photographers, etc.) to ensure timely arrivals and setup, and assist with their needs during events.
  • Act as a point of contact for guests and clients during events, addressing any concerns or requests and ensuring their experience exceeds expectations.
  • Help maintain inventory of event supplies, such as tableware, linens, and decorations, and assist with restocking as needed.
  • Provide administrative assistance to the Director of Operations, including scheduling and event documentation.
  • Ensure the venue is maintained in accordance with health and safety standards and that all common areas are clean, organized, and ready for use.
  • Be proactive in identifying and addressing potential operational/safety issues during events and escalate to the appropriate personnel when necessary.

Position Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college education preferred.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in operations or event coordination, preferably in a hospitality setting.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A professional and positive attitude with a strong customer-service orientation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the event schedule.
