Birdsong is a 2 Michelin starred restaurant in San Francisco, focused on American heritage cuisine by Chef Chris Bleidorn. We are looking for a Beverage Director to join our team and grow our wine program. An ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
1. Prioritizes and cares deeply for providing a great guest experience
2. Passion for food, beverage, dining, and genuine hospitality
3. Positive, team focused attitude
4. Keen interest in being part of a growing restaurant and building upon an award winning wine list
5. Create multiple wine pairings for tasting menus
6. Ability to educate all staff on basic wine knowledge
7. Experience with cellar and inventory management
8. At least 3-5 years of experience in managing a wine program at a fine dining restaurant
