The ARM Group is seeking to hire a Full-Time “Maintenance Supervisor” for one of leading clients in Barnwell, SC

Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in hiring maintenance team members.
- Supervise maintenance staff and external contractors.
- Organize and lead maintenance training programs.
- Establish and manage shift schedules and work assignments.
- Assist in developing and implementing maintenance policies and procedures.
- Oversee the procurement of tools, supplies, and equipment.
- Respond to and address maintenance requests efficiently.
- Ensure projects are completed on schedule.
- Lead safety inspections and maintain compliance at worksites.
- Perform maintenance work as necessary.
- Evaluate worksites to identify and plan necessary maintenance tasks.
- Escalate unresolved issues to management and propose actionable solutions.
- Enforce adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Ensure the team complies with OSHA safety standards.
- Apply and implement maintenance best practices.
- Demonstrate exceptional time management and organizational skills.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to maintenance workers, fostering a positive and productive environment.
Professional Experience:
- Minimum of three (3) years of maintenance experience required.
- Five (5) years of management experience preferred.
Education and Technical Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Proficiency in electrical control systems, including Servo Drives and PLCs.
- Strong knowledge of complex mechanical drive systems.
- Understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Familiarity with utilities such as electrical, thermal oil, compressed air, and HVAC systems.
- Experience using project planning tools and CMMS systems.
Environment and Behavioral Expectations:
- Ability to collaborate effectively with all levels, from executives to hourly staff.
- Availability to support a 24/7 manufacturing operation.
- Skilled in managing technical teams, including engineers and technicians.
- Exhibit proactive problem-solving by assessing situations, anticipating changes, and implementing solutions.
- Demonstrate adaptability and agility in execution, taking initiative, and adjusting plans when needed.
- Foster cooperation by listening, explaining priorities, and collaborating for overall improvement.
- Continuously seek improvements, challenge ideas constructively, and promote innovation.
Linguistic Requirements:
- Proficiency in English is essential for verbal and written communication.
- Knowledge of German is a plus.
Mobility and Physical Requirements:
- Role based in Barnwell, SC, with up to 5% travel, sometimes on short notice.
- This position operates in a manufacturing environment.
- Physical demands include standing, walking, and using hands/fingers regularly.
- Full-time hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with extended hours or weekends as needed.
