As a Technical Program Manager 2 , you will play a pivotal role in driving the successful completion of technical and operational projects that directly impact organizational goals. Your expertise will help ensure projects meet customer requirements, adhere to schedules, and stay within budget while maintaining high-quality standards. By effectively collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, you will contribute to advancements in critical mission areas.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Lead technical or operational projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with defined goals.
- Establish technical requirements, deliverables, budgets, and schedules for each project.
- Oversee project planning, execution, and tracking to ensure alignment with programmatic needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and produce work packages that meet specific customer requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including external customers (e.g., federal agencies) and internal organizations.
- Support adherence to compliance and reporting requirements, including DOE EVMS and DOE 413.3B work scope.
- Foster a collaborative team environment that encourages problem-solving and continuous improvement.
Minimum Qualifications
- Active or ability to obtain a Q Clearance (unescorted access required).
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- At least 5 years of experience in technical program management or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proven experience supporting DOE EVMS and DOE 413.3B work scope.
- Strong ability to navigate and build relationships with challenging customers.
