POSITION: Warehouse Operation Supervisor (Mandarin)

DURATION: Full time permanent role

LOCATION: Savannah, GA

PAY: $ 72000 to 78000 with bonuses

As a Warehouse Supervisor (Inventory Management and Warehouse Operation), you will oversee the accurate management and control of inventory within the warehouse.

Your primary focus will be on leading the inventory team, implementing efficient

processes, and ensuring proper documentation. This role requires strong

organizational skills, attention to detail, and optimizing inventory management systems.


Responsibilities

1. Team Leadership:

- Lead and supervise the inventory team, providing guidance and support.

- Conduct training sessions for team members on inventory management procedures.

- Foster a collaborative and results-driven team culture.

2. Inventory Control:

- Implement and enforce inventory control procedures to ensure accuracy.

- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits, responsible to see that

the inventory and transactions are balanced in SAP.

- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in inventory levels.

3. System Management:

- Utilize and maintain warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant

technology.

- Train team members on the proper use of inventory management systems.

- Identify opportunities for system improvements and enhancements.

4. Order Fulfillment Coordination:

- Collaborate with other teams, such as outbound and inbound, to optimize stock

levels.

- Ensure the availability of products to meet order fulfillment requirements.

- Implement strategies to minimize stockouts and overstock situations.

5. Reporting and Analysis:

- Generate and analyze inventory reports to assess stock levels, turnover, and trends.

- Provide regular reports to management on inventory performance.

- Identify and address slow-moving or obsolete inventory.

6. Vendor Relations:

- Work closely with vendors to manage and optimize inventory replenishment

processes.

- Communicate effectively to resolve any issues related to stock levels or product

quality.

- Negotiate favorable terms for inventory replenishment.

7. Safety and Compliance:

- Supervise and control report all goods inventory according to the SOP. Implement

and reinforce warehouse policies and procedures.

- Enforce safety protocols related to inventory handling.

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

8. Continuous Improvement:

- Identify areas for improvement in inventory management processes.

- Implement best practices to enhance overall efficiency.

- Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in inventory management.


Qualifications

- 1-3 years’ experience in a supervisory or team lead role within warehouse

inventory management.

- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

- Knowledge of inventory management best practices and procedures.

- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and relevant technology.

- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.

- Bilingual in English and Chinese is required. Effective communication skills, both

verbal and written.


· Education and Experience:

- High school diploma or equivalent bachelor's degree.

- 3 years + proven experience in warehouse operations with a focus on inventory

management.

- Familiarity with relevant software and technology.
