Electrical Engineer

Location: Cedar City, UT

Reports to: Engineering Manager

Compensation: $115,000 - $130,000

Responsibilities:

• Lead electrical engineering initiatives, including design, maintenance, and troubleshooting of complex electrical systems.
• Manage capital projects from planning and design to procurement and installation.
• Develop and interpret electrical designs, including blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA, NEC, and other regulatory standards.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to drive operational excellence and innovation.
• Maintain and troubleshoot medium-voltage systems (experience required) and high-voltage systems (experience a plus).
• Oversee transformers, substations, and power distribution systems.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer, ideally in industrial, chemical, or manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency in electrical design software (AutoCAD preferred).
• Strong expertise in electrical systems, power distribution, control systems (PLC, DCS), and instrumentation.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards, including OSHA, NFPA, and NEC.
• Project management experience in capital projects.
• Medium voltage experience is required; high voltage experience is a plus.
• PE license is preferred but not required.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
