Job description
We are currently seeking an experienced Oil and Gas Completion Tools Engineer to join our team in Midland, TX. The successful candidate will have a strong background in completion tools and be proficient in Microsoft Office platforms, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct tubing movement simulations to ensure the efficient completion of oil and gas wells.
• Perform torque and drag analysis to optimize tool performance.
• Utilize strong understanding of tools and components to troubleshoot issues that may arise during operations.
• Provide expertise and support on location or by phone during job executions.
• Customer deliverables
• Utilize drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD) and SolidWorks for designing tools
• Demonstrate hands-on field experience from being on jobsites.
• Be willing to travel up to 30% across the United States.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in oil and gas as a completion tools engineer.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office platforms (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to complete, understand, and explain tubing movement simulations.
• Strong understanding of torque and drag analysis techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot tool-related issues efficiently with company employees and customers alike.
• Interpersonal skills for customer engagement
• Experience using drafting software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks
