LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking skilled Shop Service Technicians at Level I and Level III to perform preventative and routine repairs on a variety of machinery and equipment, including diesel engines. This role involves assembling new engine packages, pre-assembling fitted components in the production shop, and completing assigned equipment repairs. The ideal candidate is personable, reliable, ethical, intelligent, and a natural problem solver, with the ability to adapt and collaborate effectively with customers, suppliers, co-workers, and manufacturers. Strong diesel technology and engine experience are required .

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance and routine repairs on diesel engines and related equipment.
• Assemble new engine packages and pre-assemble fitted components in the production shop.
• Complete assigned equipment repairs efficiently and to a high standard.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
• Work independently and with minimal supervision while maintaining a collaborative approach with team members.

Requirements:

• Level I: At least 1-2 years of experience as a shop technician with a strong understanding of shop technician responsibilities.
• Level III: At least 5+ years of experience with a deeper expertise in diesel technology and engine systems.
• Experience in diesel technology and engine systems is required.
• Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge related to engines and equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to complete repairs with minimal supervision.
• Personable, ethical, and reliable, with a customer-focused mindset.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment.
