We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer I, that will assist in the design, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing processes. In this role you will be involved in collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance production efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality. Our Manufacturing Engineers play a key role in ensuring processes are designed such that the company’s products are machined and manufactured to meet stringent quality standards and production deadlines.
What you will do
- Provide engineering support in manufacturing to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
- Assist with the development of manufacturing processes for enhancements, product changes, new products, and related fixtures and tooling.
- Assist with equipment troubleshooting or updates as required.
- Collect and analyze data to develop, evaluate, improve, and document manufacturing processes.
- Develop and implements process control techniques and procedures into manufacturing routings.
- Confer with vendors and senior manufacturing engineers in determining product specifications and arranging equipment, parts, or material purchases and evaluate purchased products according to quality standards and specifications.
- Participate in product development meetings and provide manufacturing input.
- Support company policies and procedures, goals and objectives, and good manufacturing practices.
What you will bring
- Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering or related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
- Familiarity of 3D and 2D CAD software.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
