- Develops and implements ETL processes to consolidate data from diverse sources such as Excel files, flat files, and REST APIs into Microsoft SQL Server using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
- Collaborates with stakeholders to design efficient database solutions by leveraging critical thinking and creativity to address business needs using T-SQL.
- Designs, builds, and maintains dashboards and reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
- Monitors SQL Server Agent processes to identify and resolve any issues efficiently.
- Optimizes and enhances existing database systems for better performance and scalability.
- Provides technical support for database and application-related issues, analyzing root causes and implementing fixes.
- Researches and recommends emerging technologies to enhance the organization’s data infrastructure and processes.
- Develops and maintains clear, organized documentation for workflows, standards, and reference materials.
- Resolves challenges related to Access databases and Google Forms.
- Demonstrates proficiency in C#, XML, and JSON technologies.
Required Skills, Experience, and Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- A minimum of 5 years working with Microsoft SQL Server environments, with expertise in versions 2017 and later.
- Advanced T-SQL development skills.
- Proficient in utilizing SQL Server tools, including Management Studio, SSIS, and SSRS.
- Practical knowledge of Microsoft Access and VBA scripting.
- Familiarity with creating APIs is advantageous.
- Experience working with MySQL database systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure, is highly desirable.
