Job Title: PMO Analyst
Duration: 6-12 Month Contract
Location: Hybrid in Parsippany, NJ
We are looking for a detail-oriented and results-driven PMO Analyst to join our global IT Transformation team. This role involves managing, analyzing, and coordinating the IT portfolio of projects across various regions, with a focus on fostering alignment and promoting best practices within the organization. You will work closely with IT product, project, and program managers to ensure smooth governance processes and effective communication. A key aspect of this role is driving consistency and harmonization of practices across the EMEA and APAC regions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and evaluate portfolio data from multiple sources to produce detailed reports on performance, metrics, and key trends.
- Design and maintain standardized dashboards and reporting tools to deliver actionable insights to the PMO team.
- Monitor portfolio data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and proactively highlight them to stakeholders.
- Support teams in updating and maintaining project data to ensure the accuracy of the IT Portfolio Dashboard.
- Prepare and present updates for portfolio review meetings, clearly summarizing portfolio performance and key takeaways.
- Educate IT teams on PMO methodologies, tools, and resources to ensure alignment with governance standards.
- Evaluate current PMO processes and implement enhancements to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop and manage project management resources, including documentation and templates.
- Contribute to broader IT Transformation goals by taking on additional tasks aligned with departmental objectives.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Project Management, or a related field.
- 4-5 years of experience in project management methodologies, tools, and practices, with a background in a PMO or senior analyst role.
- 4-5 years of hands-on experience with data analytics tools and projects.
- Strong experience in portfolio financial management, including tracking and reporting financial performance.
- Proven track record of driving process improvements and standardizing practices in project management contexts.
- Expertise in project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Advanced data analysis and visualization skills to extract actionable insights from portfolio data.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and clarity in reporting.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with proficiency in English and the ability to interact across time zones.
- Collaborative mindset with an emphasis on teamwork, flexibility, and constructive conflict resolution.
- Analytical thinking with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and propose solutions.
- Technical proficiency with project management software, reporting platforms, and data analysis tools.
