Responsibilities
- Perform assembly of electronic devices and wire harnesses to rigorous QA standards in an ESD-controlled environment.
- Solder wire harnesses and PCBs with precision.
- Utilize common hand tools for assembly tasks.
- Read and interpret blueprints and step-by-step assembly instructions.
- Test components and assemblies using measuring devices and diagnostic tools.
- Document test results, report discrepancies, and resolve technical issues.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to suggest process improvements.
- Maintain, construct, and test electrical and mechanical systems, components, and equipment.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Skills:
- Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
- Experience in electro-mechanical assembly.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
- Capable of performing repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods.
- Good eyesight and hand-eye coordination.
Other Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
Preferred Experience
- Machine shop experience (e.g., mill, lathe).
- Familiarity with Manufacturing Bills of Material (BOMs) and MRP systems, including:
- Creating purchase requisitions and tracking material lead times.
- Inspecting incoming materials and documenting proof of receipt.
- Experience with parts inventory management, including:
- Regular inventory counts, organizing, and labeling.
- Cleaning and kitting parts before technician assembly.
- Staging kitted parts with attention to detail.
- Packaging and shipping sensitive equipment.
