TekStream Solutions has an immediate need for a Cyber Security Analyst for our client located in Atlanta, GA. This is a 90-day contract-to-hire position, and it will be hybrid (in the office located near downtown Atlanta up to 2-3 days/week.

The Security Analyst provides support for complex computer network exploitation and defense techniques to include deterring, identifying, and investigating computer and network intrusions; providing incident response and remediation support; identifying vulnerabilities; developing secure network designs and protection strategies, and audits of IS infrastructure. This position examines information to help identify risks and threats, then recommends and helps implement strategies to stop those threats from adversely affecting the network or property.

Primary Responsibilities

• Actively monitor and support internal and external infrastructure systems (incident & problem management)
• Compiles comprehensive audit reports, identifying potential risks/threats
• Reports on KPIs in relation to GRC; ensures thorough and accurate reporting to stakeholders
• Advises and defines specific IS controls and policies
• Leads security awareness program, ensuring all staff achieve regular completion
• Assist with security assessments
• Ensure data security/privacy controls are maintained
• Support business continuity processes (backups, replication, etc.) through continued documenting of infrastructure environment
• Respond to internal and external inquiries and requests for security support

Requirements/Qualifications

• CompTIA Security+, CASP+, CySA+ Certification(s) or equivalent
• Undergraduate Degree (nice to have)
• 1+ years of experience management endpoint security solutions
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Familiarity with common Information Technology protocol, technologies, and systems
• Understanding of threats, vulnerabilities, and exploits
• Experience developing and/or deploying mitigation techniques for defending networks
• Thorough understanding of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications
• Enterprise Directory experience (such as Azure Active Directory)
• Excellent customer service, communication, and collaboration skills
