Job summary:

Seeking a talented and experienced Senior Linux Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Linux Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our Linux infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability.

Required Skills : Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) Linux Server Administration (Red Hat, Apache Tomcat, & WebLogic) Scripting (Bash/Shell/Python)

• Manage, support, and maintain Linux installed systems
• Install, upgrade, and maintain Linux based systems
• Ensure security of systems and data
• Manage system backups, restore, and recovery
• Manage and maintain printers and scanners
• Manage user accounts, groups, and services
• Manage and maintain storage
• Work with users to resolve account/system issues
• Provide support on all Linux applications and UNIX based applications
• Provide support to users on basic and advanced desktop and server tasks
• Assist with Linux server administration tasks
• Perform other related duties as assigned
• Help troubleshoot problems with Linux servers, running various versions of Linux, including Red Hat, Ubuntu, and CentOS
• Engage in continuous testing of new Linux versions and applications on an on-demand basis
• Perform change control
• Assist with user management, such as creating accounts for new hires and training seasoned professionals on company policies
• Install and maintain servers
• Help automate server maintenance, including running scripts and automated processes
• Maintain server uptime and network performance
• Assist with server documentation
• Maintain server security
• Ensure all administrative procedures are followed
• Document all server incidents and outages
