Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Application Software Administrator to join our dynamic team as a Mid-Senior level Information Technology Specialist. In this critical role, you will provide expert technical support to high-visibility programs, collaborating with a talented team of System Administrators to drive innovation and excellence in our operations. As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for communicating complex technical challenges and solutions to senior leadership, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and developing innovative solutions to drive operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Major Duties:
- Manage software applications.
- Manage system security compliance following Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
- Perform software updates, certificate installations, and configuration changes.
- Provide customer support, troubleshoot issues, and manage user accounts.
- Create and maintain system documentation and test plans.
- Monitor system performance and status to ensure operational readiness.
Conditions of Employment:
- This national security position, which may require access to classified information, requires a favorable suitability review and security clearance as a condition of employment. Failure to maintain security eligibility may result in termination.
- Must be able to obtain Top Secret security clearance.
- This position is a Drug Testing Designated Position.
- This is an Information Security Information Assurance (IA) position. In accordance with DoD 8570.1- 3/29/23, IA Workforce Improvement Program, selectee must meet IA Certification standards. Selectee must have an approved waiver prior to placement in this position or achieve the appropriate IA certification within six months of assignment of IA duties.
Security Clearance:
- Must be able to obtain Top Secret security clearance.
