This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide electrical design expertise for foundry system projects, ensuring the successful integration and operation of equipment at construction sites. The position involves working closely with customers and collaborating across multiple functional departments.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide electrical/electronic engineering support through the concept, design, and troubleshooting of electrical circuitry to actuate and control foundry system features and concepts.
- Document designs to meet both internal and customer standards, ensuring suitability for construction site applications.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and customer service teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Offer technical expertise in electrical/electronic engineering, focusing on hardware and embedded system firmware design for construction-oriented projects.
- Process and conduct testing for development projects, addressing unique challenges of on-site installation.
- Coordinate across multiple teams, including sales, design, production, field service support, suppliers, and end customers, ensuring smooth execution at construction sites.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years experience programming Allen Bradley CompactLogix PLCs and PanelView HMIs.
- Proficiency in selecting and configuring ABB and Allen Bradley VFDs.
- Ability to create and modify AutoCAD electrical drawings for industrial controls.
