This company is an industry pioneer in energy storage development, with a vision to become a leading Independent Power Producer (IPP). Working with an expert team across origination, execution, and operations, you’ll play a pivotal role in the companies engineering expertise.
In this role, you’ll serve as a key liaison between the company and its third-party engineering contractors. You’ll verify designs, support procurement, and provide technical expertise to ensure cost-effective and compliant project execution. This role offers the unique opportunity to contribute to large-scale, MW-level energy storage projects with cutting-edge solutions.
This role is ideal for an experienced all rounded engineer with a strong background in MW-scale power generation design who is looking to make a meaningful impact in the renewable energy industry.
The Role:
• Serve as the primary liaison between the company and third-party engineering contractors.
• Review and verify design drawings prepared by third party engineering firms
• Provide technical support for equipment procurement, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
• Analyze and understand all site specifics, codes/standards/regulations
• Conduct due diligence on new technologies and incorporate value-engineering ideas.
The Candidate:
• Bachelors in Engineering (Electrical Engineering preferred).
• Vast experience in project design for MW-scale power generation projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Detail-oriented problem solver with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work out of NYC
