JOB SUMMARY
A Manufacturing Customer Service Representative focuses on ensuring customer satisfaction, managing product quality and timelines, and maintaining effective communication between customers, sales, and production teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES
•Received orders from customers, create quotes, review for detail and accuracy, and coordinate with sales managers and production teams
•Enters customer sales orders; ensuring all requirements have been met per order (product/order mins, pricing details, Leadtime needs)
•Review open order reports daily and drives communication-advising customers on change in dates.
•Responsible for processing Returns and Credit as needed. Provide timely feedback so customers have an effortless experience
•Create shipping release with a high level of accuracy; to achieve on time delivery
•Maintain customer files and die information
•Prepare sales analysis reports
•Work with Scheduler and Production department to meet customer requirements
•Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers to promote sales and retention.
•Maintain log of new samples sent to customer
•Resolves service and quality problems by clarifying the customer's complaint
Requirements
EDUCATION
•2-year college degree preferred or 2+ years of experience in a Customer Service role in a manufacturing environment highly preferable.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
•Exceptional customer-facing communication skills; excellent listening skills
•Ability to multitask and solve problems under pressure
•Knowledge of manufacturing processes and logistics
•Excellent communication (written and verbal) and collaboration skills with an attitude for customer service
•Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (must have MS Excel experience).
•ERP experience required, QAD and Salesforce preferred
•Estimating experience would be a plus
•Ability to multi-task and adaptability; conflict resolution
•Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
