Job Summary
As a Carrier Sales Representative at The AGL Group, you will be responsible for assisting our sales team by securing trucking capacity for their client’s orders through use of DAT Load Board and Truckstop Load Board, tracking shipments from time of dispatch to time of delivery, while simultaneously building out a reliable network of providers for consistent lane coverage. You will be provided with target rates for coverage by the appointed sales rep on each account and will be responsible for effectively matching that target rate or finding a lower cost option that can meet all outlined load requirements. This role reports directly to the Director of Domestic Operations.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Vet carriers for compliance and onboard them into the Logistically TMS System with all required documentation attached
- Cover truckloads with reliable carriers in designated timeframe set forth by Sales Rep
- Properly communicate load coverage to assigned Tracking Rep to ensure visibility of transit
- Track shipments from time of dispatch to time of delivery
- Effectively work with the assigned Sales Rep throughout load coverage process to communicate coverage issues or additional info needed for coverage
- Meet assigned KPI’s for # of loads covered below target margins each week
- Conduct sales outreach calls and emails daily to expand network of consistent and reliable carriers for our client base
Job Requirements
At least 2 years of relevant carrier sales experience, specifically load coverage in the 3PL space
Knowledge of truckload equipment types and terminology

Compensation
- Annual base salary of $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 based on experience
- Bonus based on KPI’s
