Our Client is looking to Direct Hire for a Landscape Architect/Construction Project Manager


About the job


  • Responsibilities -
  • Conduct site surveys and analyze environmental, geological, and climatic factors.
  • Assess existing site conditions, including topography, vegetation, soil, drainage, and infrastructure.
  • Develop landscape designs that integrate with the civil engineering aspects of the project, such as grading, drainage, and transportation systems.
  • Create conceptual designs and detailed plans for outdoor spaces, including parks, streetscapes, plazas, and green spaces.
  • Work closely with civil engineers to ensure that landscaping designs align with engineering requirements, such as water management and structural integrity.
  • Coordinate on issues like grading, stormwater management, utility placement, and accessibility.
  • Design sustainable landscapes that reduce environmental impact, enhance biodiversity, and promote conservation of resources (e.g., water-efficient plants, native species).
  • Implement best practices for stormwater management, including rain gardens, bioswales, and permeable surfaces.
  • Prepare and present site plans, grading plans, planting plans, and irrigation plans.
  • Produce detailed construction drawings, specifications, and reports to guide the execution of landscaping work.


This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.



Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in landscape architecture project management.
  • Strong knowledge of landscape architecture techniques, materials, and equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Attention to detail
  • A team player that is committed to a collaborative design process and the ability to work autonomously
