This candidate must have experience in repairs to boat engines and systems for customer boats. Working with a variety of brands, sizes and different mechanical/electrical components is preferred.

Marine Mechanical Technician Requirements
- Diagnose and make repairs to engines, drive trains, on-board systems, components, and hardware.
- Perform routine maintenance on boats and engines.
- Commission engines and systems for use upon delivery or at season.
- Winterize engines and systems at season end.
- Perform winter work in an identified area of expertise (paint and gelcoat repair or mechanical or sailboat rigging or varnish and woodworking).
- Perform major overhaul and repair to engines, components, and systems to include rebuilding and repowering.
- Participate in launch and haul out procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area with safety minded practices.
Marine Mechanical Technician Qualifications
- Love for the marine industry and boating.
- Demonstrated knowledge of technical skills to include mechanical, electrical, body work and parts.
- Ability to operate tools, power equipment, and motorized cranes and vehicles.
- Neat, clean and organized.
- Ability to climb ladders and stairs, to lift up to 50 lbs consistently, and to get on/off boats of varying sizes.
- Active team player, willing to help out in all areas of need (as needed)
- Understand safety protocols, PPE requirements and adherence to company policies.
- Ability to read and understand reference materials to include service manuals.
- Willingness to work over 40 hours a week seasonally and when required.
