DESCRIPTION: The Technician is responsible for assisting the Engineering team in the installation, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing of all machinery and equipment within the manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities for the position include:
- Install, repair, and maintain all machinery and equipment.
- Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components of machinery or equipment.
- Establish and follow a regular maintenance plan for all machinery and equipment within the facility.
- Ensure all machinery undergoes required testing to meet compliance guidelines to maintain facility certifications.
- Disassemble machinery or equipment to remove parts and make repairs.
- Observe and test the operation of machinery or equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using industry testing devices and practices.
- Reassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing or repairs.
- Clean, lubricate, or adjust parts, equipment, or machinery.
- Schedule and coordinate installation support and service operations for machinery and equipment to meet internal standards.
- Ensure compliance with customer specifications and company requirements.
- Examine parts for defects, such as breakage or excessive wear.
- Operate newly repaired machinery or equipment to verify the adequacy of repairs.
- Analyze test results, machine error messages, or information obtained from operators to diagnose equipment problems.
- Record parts or materials used and order or requisition new parts or materials, as necessary.
- Record repairs and maintenance performed in accordance with company requirements.
- Study manufacturers’ manuals or other documents to determine correct installation and/or operation of machinery and equipment.
- Enter codes and instructions to program computer-controlled machinery.
- Demonstrate equipment functions and features to machine operators.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Extensive knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or electronic disciplines.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- 1+ years’ experience as a Technician in a manufacturing environment.
- Degree in Mechatronics or similar field, preferred.
Shift Information: Intelli-Pole offers 12-hour shifts - 6 am to 6 pm and 6 pm to 6 am.
Pay Rate: $28-36 per hour (based on experience)
