Hyur Health is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Full Time – 36 hours
13-week contracts
Every other weekend
(Typically) every other holiday
Interview: by phone if at all (depending on the manager)
Scrubs: Black/Red any combo
Orientation: Rotates every other Monday 10a-12p nonclinical, mandatory orientation. Meet in lobby with HYUR representative at 9am as they start calling names around 930am.
Once the nonclinical orientation portion is complete, they will meet with managers to go over unit orientation and schedule.
Onboarding: Must complete EPIC Sphinx, modules, and ECG prior to start date. If the RN fails the online ECG after 2 attempts, they do have the opportunity to retake in person on paper after the non-clinical orientation at 12pm their first day.
Job Description:
MUST HAVE: Must be able to read/interpret tele.
At least 2 years RN experience including perm and travel contract.
1 year travel experience required. (or at least 2-3 travel assignments)
(2 years) Level 1 trauma facility experience (or at least 3-5 years of level 2 experience)
BLS, ACLS certifications are required for all Acute Care units
Plus: NIHSS but not required
Being comfortable with taking care of 5-6 patients; common nurse to patient ratios – 1:5-6
Flexibility. RN should be able to adapt well to change of environment/staff, comfortable in level 1 trauma as these patients are very sick and we want to make sure the nurse is prepared to take care of these types of patients.
