Position Summary:
Facilitates the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures. The primary purpose of the Surgical Tech position is to assist the surgeon and RN’s in operative procedures.
Reports to: Director of CV Services
FLSA: Non-exempt
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum EducationX High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Minimum EducationX Graduate of a Program in Discipline Preferred Required SkillsRequires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Required Skills
Certifications:
X Surgical Tech certification required within 6 months
X Basic Life Support (BCLS) within 30 days of hire
