Our client, a Medical Center facility under the aegis of a California Public Ivy university and one of largest health delivery systems in California, seeks an accomplished Medical Administrative Assistant

Position: Medical Administrative Officer (Job Id - # 2770208)

Location: San Francisco CA 94158

Duration: 3 Months + Strong Possibility of Extension

  • Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
  • 1-3 years of related experience
  • Ability to use sound judgment in responding to issues and concerns.
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all levels of staff verbally and in writing.
  • Working knowledge of common organization-specific and other computer application programs.
  • Ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to work well with others and as part of a team, ability to communicate clearly with a wide variety of constituents.
  • Advanced computer skills (MS Office, including Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint), Outlook, email.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks; ability to meet deadlines and follow through on assigned duties; ability to work well under pressure; ability to maintain a service-oriented approach
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
