Compensation: $65,000 - $100,000/year + bonus
Location: Palm Beach County, FL
Responsibilities as the Assistant Project Manager (Commercial Construction):
- Project Management: Assist in overseeing commercial construction projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget and quality standards.
- RFI: Handle Requests for Information (RFI) between project teams, subcontractors, and consultants.
- Budget Control: Manage project budgets, review cost events, handle subcontractor invoicing, and oversee subcontract purchasing.
- Field Coordination: Lead coordination with subcontractors and suppliers for material procurement and delivery across project sites.
- Estimating: Collaborate with the estimating team for subcontract negotiation, buyout, and contract execution.
- Documentation: Utilize Procore or similar project management software for documentation and reporting.
Qualifications for the Assistant Project Manager (Commercial Construction):
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Experience: 2+ years of Construction experience, with a focus on Commercial projects.
- Technical Skills: Procore experience (or similar PM software) and strong computer skills required.
- Language Skills: Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
- Personal Attributes: Energetic, driven, and detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and leadership skills.
