Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead our HR department and support our organization's growth and development. The ideal candidate will possess strong program management skills and a thorough understanding of employment labor laws. This role requires a strategic thinker who can effectively manage employee evaluations, conflict resolution, and process improvements while fostering a positive workplace culture.

Duties

  • Oversee the recruitment process, including interviewing candidates and onboarding new employees.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with organizational goals.
  • Manage employee evaluations to ensure performance standards are met.
  • Provide guidance on employment labor law compliance to minimize legal risks.
  • Facilitate conflict management processes to resolve workplace disputes effectively.
  • Utilize UltiPro for HR management tasks, including employee records and payroll processing.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends in employee performance and satisfaction.
  • Manage the HR budget to ensure effective allocation of resources for programs and initiatives.
  • Lead program management efforts for various HR initiatives aimed at process improvement.
  • Monitoring and ensuring compliance with legal FMLA, ADA, EEO/Affirmative Action, WC, Unemployment and more.
  • Safety is a key focus for the HR Manager

Experience

  • 2+ years human resources management
  • Strong knowledge of employment labor laws and regulations.
  • Experience with safety programs, compensation, benefits, recruiting, hiring and training
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and intranet/internet
  • Demonstrated skills in program management, budgeting, and data analysis.
  • Excellent interviewing skills with a focus on candidate assessment and selection.
  • Ability to manage conflicts effectively and foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Experience in developing process improvements that enhance operational efficiency.
