Clark Pacific is seeking a Human Resources Director to support our West Sacramento, CA location .
Overview of the position:
The Human Resources Director is the highest-level HR leader, responsible for shaping and executing the organization’s people strategy. The Human Resources Director will oversee all areas of Human Resources, including organizational development, employee training and development, compliance and risk management, compensation and benefits, and HR technology.
Training, & Development: Collaborate and work with key leaders in the organization to achieve the following:
- Design and implement learning and development initiatives and other programs that foster employee growth, skills development, and career progression.
- Manage the employee experience lifecycle and develop and implement programs to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
Compliance & Risk Management: Collaborate and work with key leaders in the organization to achieve the following:
- Grow internal procedures and processes to enhance employee understanding and engagement and ensure all HR practices comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Oversee HR-related risk management initiatives, addressing issues such as workplace safety, wage and hour compliance, and employee relations concerns.
- Handle sensitive employee relations matters, ensuring fair and consistent resolution of disputes or conflicts.
Compensation & Benefits: Collaborate and work with key leaders in the organization to achieve the following:
- Lead the design, implementation, and management of competitive compensation and benefits programs that align with legal requirements and industry standards and support employee retention and motivation.
- Oversee the performance management process, ensuring fair, transparent, and effective evaluation of employee performance.
HR Technology & Analytics:
- Leverage HR technology systems to streamline HR processes and improve efficiency.
- Implement HR metrics to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as turnover rates, employee satisfaction, and productivity.
Job Requirements
- Full-time position; flexibility in work hours may be required.
- The role is an in-person role that will be based in our corporate office in West Sacramento, California. Occasional travel may be necessary.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of progressively responsible HR leadership experience, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (required). MBA preferred.
- High and well-rounded level of business acumen
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR).
- Experience in HR leadership in the manufacturing and/or construction industries is preferred.
- Experience with Organizational Change Management
