Job Opportunity: Payroll Coordinator (Onsite)
Location: Brea, CA
Pay: $31/hr.
Duration: 3-month assignment with the possibility for conversion based on performance and budget
Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (Onsite)
Job Description: We are a national staffing firm seeking a Payroll Coordinator for a prominent client. This position is located in Brea, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a wide variety of record-keeping and payroll processing activities, including processing regular and non-regular payroll, computing wage and overtime payments, calculating and recording payroll deductions, processing requests for special payments, and processing terminations.
- Review timecards to ensure accuracy using eTime, ensuring regular hours worked, overtime worked, and PTO are entered and calculated correctly, and garnishments and withholdings are applied correctly.
- Process bi-weekly and weekly payrolls, including medical, dental, life, 401(K), fringe benefits, voluntary, and Federal & State mandatory deductions.
Qualifications:
- HS Diploma or GED required
- 2 years of experience processing high-volume payroll required
- Experience using MS Excel required
- ADP experience highly preferred (eTime experience is a plus)
- Experience with multistate or international payroll processing is a plus
