Summary of Responsibilities
This position is responsible for selling home care services within Palm Beach County. Position is responsible for overall territory management, planning and meeting or exceeding admission and hourly quotas.

Work Experience :
· 3 to 5 years experience in healthcare-related sales
· Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing or related field preferred, or demonstrated experience that serves as equivalent is preferred
· Must be a self-starter and have a proven ability to perform without being micro-managed
· Home care, home health or health care experience required
· Ability to communicate effectively with patients, co-workers, and other health care professionals
· Excellent organizational and communication skills
· Comfortable with significant cold calling (at least 50 stops per week initially) and able to develop new client leads, close new relationships, organize and maintain contacts
· Highly self motivated, organized and driven to succeed
· Comfortable speaking and presenting in front of groups
· Experienced in cold calling, new business development and relationship-based sales

Key Responsibilities
- Sell home care services in assigned service area
- Meet or exceed referral, admission and hourly goals on a monthly basis
- Use effective territory management skills to maximize sales time with potential clients and referrers
- Maintain an electronic file of prospects and customer’s demographic information and activity
- Effectively and persuasively present the company’s services and capabilities to potential referrers and clients.
- Continuously develop knowledge on home care, payors, regulations and industry trends
- Develop sales leads, promote a positive company image in the community, and attend community functions, professional organizations and other networking events as a company representative
- Provide information and education to professionals, facilities, organizations, and consumers regarding services offered
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the community, health care facilities, and referral sources appropriate for agency services
- Develop and maintain relationships with physicians, discharge planners, case managers, social workers, and other health care professionals who utilize home care services by regularly scheduling and conducting visits to those referral sources in order to assist in identifying those patients who may be appropriate for home care services thereby increasing the number of clients served by the agency/market
- Maintain current knowledge of agency/market trends, coverage criteria, and industry changes to ensure compliance with required regulations
- Represent the agency at health fairs, trade shows, community events, other community service functions, and participate in civic and/or community committees as requested
- Travel within the company service area, and to industry events
- Attend sales meetings on a regularly scheduled basis
- Provide timely, informational reports to Owner and Director on sales results and planned activities
- Continually assess assigned service area or account list for the potential of specialty programs or services
- Participate in the annual forecasting and budgeting process for an assigned service area or account list
- Work effectively and professionally with Right at Home staff and support personnel to maintain and friendly and productive office environment
- Communicate information on competitive strategy to agency office staff
- Coordinate sales activity with office staff to assure appropriate follow-up
- Perform other duties as assigned
